Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer a bridal trial?
Yes — and I’d strongly recommend one. The trial is a dedicated two-hour evening session where we build your look together from scratch. It’s booked separately to your wedding day and priced at £150.
When is my booking confirmed?
Your date is only confirmed once your deposit has been received. An enquiry, consultation or trial does not hold your date. Dates are allocated on a first-deposit basis.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible — popular dates fill quickly, especially through wedding season. A deposit secures your date immediately.
How far in advance should I book my bridal trial?
Ideally 4–8 weeks before your wedding day — close enough that your skin is in its pre-wedding routine but with enough time to make any adjustments.
Do you travel to me?
Yes, always. I travel to you for all bookings. Travel within Coventry is included. Beyond Coventry, a travel fee applies based on distance.
Do you work on all skin tones and ages?
Absolutely. Working across every skin tone, texture and age is something I’ve built my career around — including eight years in a photography studio. No skin type is an afterthought here.
Can you do makeup for mature skin, deeper skin tones, or hijab-friendly looks?
Yes — this is a core part of my work, not an add-on.
What’s your payment process?
Deposits vary by service: £40 for occasion, lesson and bridal party bookings; £50 for trials, Nikkah/engagement/registry and shopping consultations; £85 for bridal makeup. Remaining balance due 14 days before the event. Cash or bank transfer accepted.
What happens if I need to cancel?
For occasion, lesson, shopping and bridal party bookings: deposit non-refundable, no further fee. For bridal trial and bridal makeup, a tiered cancellation structure applies — see the full terms and conditions.
Can you accommodate larger bridal parties?
Up to 6 people including the bride as standard. Larger parties may be accommodated with a second artist arranged in advance.
Do you offer anything for larger bridal party bookings?
Yes — book occasion makeup for 3 or more bridesmaids and the mother of the bride’s makeup is complimentary. Just mention this when you enquire.
Do you work internationally?
Yes — I’m available for destination weddings and international bookings. Get in touch with your date and location and I’ll put together a bespoke quote.
Can I use my own makeup products?
For the 1-2-1 lesson, absolutely — that’s the whole point. For bridal and occasion bookings I use my own professional kit, fully stocked across all skin tones. If there’s a particular product you love, you’re welcome to bring it along.
Do you also do hair?
Makeup only — but I’m happy to recommend trusted hair artists I’ve worked alongside.
What should I wear to my trial?
Ideally something similar in colour to your wedding outfit — or bring a photo. It helps us see the full picture and make sure everything works together.
Is the VIP shopping consultation just for beginners?
Not at all. Whether you’re new to makeup or simply overwhelmed by choice, this session is for anyone who wants a knowledgeable, unbiased second opinion.
What if I don’t know what look I want?
That’s exactly what the trial is for. You don’t need a Pinterest board — we work it out together based on your features, your outfit, your skin tone, and how you want to feel.
How do I prepare my skin before my appointment?
I’ll send personalised skincare prep advice after your trial. Generally: keep skin hydrated, avoid heavy exfoliation the day before, and arrive with a clean moisturised face.
