Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before confirming any booking.
1. Booking & Confirmation
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm any booking. No date is held without a deposit received. Deposit amounts:
- Occasion Makeup, 1-2-1 Lesson and Bridal Party: £40 per person
- Engagement, Nikkah and Registry Makeup: £50
- VIP Shopping Consultation and Bridal Trial: £50
- Bridal Makeup: £85 (30% of service fee)
An enquiry, consultation or trial does not constitute confirmation of a booking. Dates are allocated on a first-deposit basis.
2. Payment
The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event date. Cash or bank transfer only.
3. Cancellations — Client
Occasion, Lesson, Bridal Party and VIP Shopping Consultation: Deposit non-refundable. No further fee.
Bridal Trial and Bridal Makeup: Deposit non-refundable. Tiered cancellation fees apply:
- Cancel 4+ weeks before: deposit forfeited only
- Cancel 2–4 weeks before: deposit + 50% of remaining balance
- Cancel under 2 weeks before: full balance due
4. Cancellations — Artist
In the rare event the artist must cancel due to a serious unforeseen personal circumstance, the artist will endeavour to source a suitable replacement, subject to the client’s agreement. If no replacement is arranged or accepted, the full deposit will be refunded and the client will receive 50% off a future booking. This applies under extreme circumstances only.
5. Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be made in writing. With 4 or more weeks’ notice, the deposit transfers to the new date. Less than 4 weeks’ notice is treated as a cancellation.
6. Trial Appointments
Trials are scheduled based on mutual availability and typically take place in the evenings. A trial is a separate booking and does not hold the wedding date.
7. On the Day — Requirements
The artist requires timely access to the venue and a suitable workspace: good natural light, a chair, a plug socket and a surface for kit.
8. Lateness
If the artist is kept waiting beyond 30 minutes through no fault of her own, she reserves the right to reduce the scope of services. The full balance remains due.
9. Timings
A wedding morning timeline will be provided in advance. The client is responsible for ensuring all party members are ready for their allocated time.
10. Changes on the Day
The wedding day look will be based on the look agreed at trial. Significant changes on the day cannot be guaranteed and are subject to available time.
11. Conduct
The artist reserves the right to refuse or terminate a service if anyone behaves in an abusive, aggressive or threatening manner. The full balance remains due and no refund will be issued.
12. Bridal Party
Standard bookings accommodate up to 6 people including the bride. Larger parties may be accommodated with a second artist. The complimentary mother of the bride offer applies to bookings of 3 or more bridesmaids and must be requested at booking.
13. Allergies & Client Responsibility
It is the client’s responsibility to inform the artist of any known allergies or sensitivities prior to any appointment, including latex, lash adhesive and fragrance. The artist cannot be held responsible for reactions where allergy information was not disclosed.
14. Patch Testing
Patch tests must be requested at least 48 hours before the trial or event. The artist cannot be held responsible for reactions where no patch test was requested and no allergy was disclosed.
15. Health & Infectious Conditions
The artist reserves the right to decline service if a client presents with an active infectious skin condition or contagious illness. The deposit will be retained. Where possible, rescheduling will be discussed.
16. Image & Video Consent
Photography and content creation are never a condition of booking. The artist is more than happy to work with clients who prefer to keep their appointment completely private — no photos, no footage, no social media. Your comfort and your needs always come first. Content is secondary. If you would like a fully private appointment, simply let the artist know at the time of booking and it will be treated with complete discretion.
For clients who are happy for their look to be shared: by booking, clients agree the artist may photograph and film finished looks for portfolio, marketing and social media use unless the client opts out at the time of booking. The artist will not share any content publicly until after the event date.
17. Travel
Travel within Coventry is complimentary. Travel beyond Coventry is charged on a banded basis and confirmed at the time of booking.
18. VIP Shopping Consultation
Available at Selfridges or Space NK Birmingham Bullring, and Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols or Space NK London. Travel fees apply outside Coventry. The artist has no affiliation with any brand or retailer.
19. 1-2-1 Makeup Lesson
A 2-hour personal session. Product recommendations are based on the artist’s professional opinion and are not affiliated with any brand.
20. Skin Preparation
The artist will provide skincare prep guidance following the bridal trial. The artist cannot be held responsible for reduced longevity where prep advice was not followed.
21. General
The artist reserves the right to refuse any booking at her discretion. These terms are subject to change. Clients will be notified of any changes affecting their existing booking.
